A brief breakfast

This painting is made from a black and white photo and I discovered the color of the photo using my own taste and the story of the painting is related to the brief breakfast that the farmer enjoys taking a break from work.

A basket holds their treasures, from a land they once called home,
A teapot, a glass, and a shovel, are the tools of their trade and life,
They brew and drink and dig, to survive the harsh and dry,
A mountain range looms behind them, a reminder of their past, A painting of a castle hangs above them, a dream of their future at last,
This is a painting of a nomad, who travels across the land,
A story of hope and hardship, that captures the eye and the hand.
